Abandoned Baby (Rare Gap Pattern)

Bullish abandoned baby: strong bearish candle, doji or small body gapped below (no overlap in wicks with neighbors on gap markets), then strong bullish candle gapped above the star. Bearish version gaps above then below.

The isolated star shows sudden sentiment vacuum — participants completely disengaged at the middle period's range, then the third candle re-engages aggressively the other way.

Rare on 24-hour forex but appears on stocks with true gaps. When found at major reversals, it is high conviction — but rarity means do not hunt it everywhere.
