Location Is King

A hammer in nowhere is a coin flip. A hammer at HTF support after a liquidity sweep is a strategy. Candlestick patterns are modifiers to location and structure — not standalone signals.

Grade every pattern: A = HTF level + structure + pattern + confirmation. B = two of three. C = pattern only. Manual traders should trade A and B; skip C.

Pre-mark your levels before the session. When a pattern prints at a pre-marked zone, decision speed improves and hesitation drops.

Patterns into void (no nearby support/resistance) produce random follow-through. Patterns into congestion (middle of range) produce whipsaw.
