The ABC Projection Method

Point A: start of impulse. Point B: end of impulse (extreme). Point C: end of pullback (where you enter or structure resumes). Extensions project from C beyond B in the trend direction.

The ABC method embeds both retracement (A to B measured, C retraces) and extension (C to new targets). One tool can serve entry zone (Fib retracement of AB) and targets (extensions from C).

C must be defined by rules: bullish close off 61.8%, break of minor structure, or clear rejection candle. Arbitrary C placement projects arbitrary targets.

Measured move symmetry: AB length projected from C approximates 100% extension — quick mental math when formal tool unavailable.

When C breaks below A in supposed uptrend ABC, pattern invalid — do not project long targets.
