The golden pocket (GP) narrows the deep retracement area to between 61.8% and 65% (some include up to 70%). The idea: the healthiest trend pullbacks often bottom or top in this band before continuation.

It gained popularity in trading communities because 61.8% alone is a wide single line — the pocket defines a band where confluence of Fib, structure, and order blocks frequently cluster.

GP is not guaranteed support. It is a hunting zone — place alerts, watch price action, demand confirmation. Many best trades tap 65% wick and rip without perfect 61.8 touch.

Works best in clear trending environments on 4H and daily. In chop, GP gets violated repeatedly — useless.
