RBR (Rally-Base-Rally): in uptrend, price rallies, consolidates briefly (base), rallies again. The base is demand for continuation longs on retest. DBD (Drop-Base-Drop) is bearish mirror for shorts.

DBR (Drop-Base-Rally): reversal — drop, base, sharp rally — base is demand origin. RBD (Rally-Base-Drop): reversal supply origin.

Base characteristics: tight range, decreasing volatility, few candles — the 'pause' before next leg. Wide messy bases produce messy zones.

Enter on first touch of zone in trend direction with confirmation candle (pin bar, engulfing). Stop beyond zone.

Counter-trend use of reversal zones (DBR/RBD) requires HTF level alignment — same as candlestick reversal rules.
