Support/resistance marks where price reacted. Supply/demand marks where imbalance originated before a decisive move. A horizontal line at a swing low may be both S/R and demand if that low was the base of a strong rally.
S/R is outcome-focused (touches). S/D is process-focused (departure story). Combining: demand zone at prior support with bullish structure is stronger than either alone.
Flip: when demand breaks, it may become supply on retest (breakdown retest). Same role reversal as S/R.
Do not double-count: one zone rectangle plus one line is enough. Clutter confuses.
When they conflict — price at supply but above support in range — defer to HTF trend and freshness of zone.
