Trading the Zone — Practical Rules

Entry rules: (1) First retest only for A-grade. (2) Confirmation candle in zone (rejection wick or engulfing). (3) HTF bias aligned. (4) Risk defined before click.

Stop: beyond zone plus buffer — wick through zone is normal; close through zone on your timeframe is invalidation.

Target: opposing zone, next liquidity pool, or structure swing. Minimum 2:1 reward-to-risk for swing trades; scalps may accept 1:1 with higher win rate.

Skip when: zone is old (10+ touches), middle of balance range with no trend, news imminent, or departure was weak.

Management: partial at first structure obstacle; trail stop under new swings if runner. Do not add to losers averaging into breaking zone.
